Apple

Here is a painting of an apple on my desk. I worked Ala Prima as much as possible. Painter's Mixer pad is really a great tool.

Holy crap. What have I been doing this whole time? Here you are making these honest-to-God works of art and I'm still trying to get myself to scribble in a sketchbook. Amazing stuff!

Thank you kindly Bruce. I have some great literature that you are welcome to borrow if you like. Painting is just an extension of Drawing (so these really skilled artists say in these books I have :P). We have to get together again sometime and this time actually draw instead of watching cartoons :).

Nice painting, man. It's always great to see digital approached with a natural medium knowledge.

Thank you Tooninator. I struggled quite a bit with digital painting for some time. I wanted that natural medium look or I wasn't happy with the results. I like that now the knowledge that I gain from digital can be transferred to real medium to a higher degree than if i were to use all Photoshop. Painter is really nice that way. Thanks for the comment.
